Occupation: Destination Services Specialist
What it should be: Second-Generation Relo Pro
Favorite words to live by: Live in the moment.
Like many Colorado residents, Mary Herron came to the Centennial State by choice—the bright sun, four seasons, and never-ending natural beauty proved too much for her to ignore. This appreciation for all that Colorado has to offer—as well as her passion for meeting new people and making them feel at home—is just part of what makes Mary an ideal Destination Services Specialist.
As for the other part? Well, it just so happens that Mary—who was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa—grew up watching her own mom work as a relocation specialist. (So, yes, one could say that the profession is in her blood!)
Mary left Cedar Rapids to attend William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, and spent her summers working as a seasonal employee at Grand Lake Lodge here in Colorado. After earning her degree in sociology, Mary knew she wanted to make Colorado her home and promptly moved to Grand Lake. Shortly afterwards, she met her husband, Terry, and they opened their own financial services firm.
Now a Coloradan for 25 years, Mary and her husband Terry are officially empty nesters, with both their daughters living within a few hours’ drive. When she’s not introducing prospective residents to her adopted home state, Mary can be found enjoying yoga, running, walking, dining out, traveling, or spending time with their new puppy, Daisy.
Mary can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303-929-3820.
